Kick off National Poetry Month by welcoming newly appointed LA Poet Laureate, Lynne Thompson, to her role, hearing her poetry, and learning about her upcoming work and activities. City Librarian John Szabo and Cultural Affairs Manager Danielle Brazell will join Lynne for this event. Those attending the virtual program will have an opportunity to win a free book.
