The Hobart Festival of Women Writers is entering its seventh, consecutive year of platforming and promoting the work of women writers. Festival 2019 takes place on September 6, 7, & 8th in Hobart, New York, The Book Village of the Catskills. This exciting weekend includes readings, workshops, intensives, and a panel discussion. Festival 2019 is an opportunity for lovers of books and words to gather, interact with and appreciate women writers. Diane Gilliam’s workshop, “Leaping Poetry,” will take place on Saturday 9/7 from 9:30-11:30am, and she’ll be reading that afternoon with Ifeona Fulani, Bertha Rogers, and Marilyn McCabe from 1:45-2:45pm.
