Join us for an international #writersresist event on the weekend of MLK Jr. Day. Writers from Montana’s state capitol – Helena, The Queen City – will read resistence pieces of their own and of other great resisters. Readers include Aaron Parrett, Melissa Kwasny, Kevin C Stewart, Corrie Williamson, Chelsia A. Rice and Virginia Reeves.

The two-hour event will also feature an open mic during the second hour from 7-8pm. Helena Area Literary Arts – HALA, the host, suggests that readers bring brief pieces to read from other great resisters as well as their own.

Please keep your pieces to less than 500 words.
